Our individual winter comforters are made for customers who already own a duvet cover or want to choose that outer layer separately. Our winter set pairs the silk-filled comforter with a 19 Momme mulberry silk duvet cover, bringing the smooth touch of silk to the surface as well as the warmth inside. The set includes those two pieces only; sheets and pillowcases remain yours to choose.

Before ordering, compare the listed dimensions with the cover already on your bed. Size names are helpful, but inches are what keep the corners aligned and the comforter from drifting inside the cover. We always recommend using a removable duvet cover. It protects the comforter from nightly friction and body oils, so the silk filling can spend more time on your bed and less time being cleaned. Air the insert in a shaded, well-ventilated place when you change the cover, and follow its own care label for spot or professional cleaning.

Our washable Tussah silk style is made for customers who want easier home care; that instruction does not apply to every winter insert.
