We offer three weights: Summer (above 22°C/72°F), All-Season (15-22°C/59-72°F), and Winter (below 15°C/59°F). If you use AC year-round, All-Season is our most versatile recommendation.
Does the silk filling shift or clump over time?
No. Unlike short-fiber silk or down, THXSILK uses premium long-strand silk. We use a traditional hand-layering technique and precision stitching to ensure the filling stays perfectly even for decades.
Why does my new silk comforter have a faint scent?
A slight, natural "earthy" scent is a hallmark of 100% pure, untreated mulberry silk (from the sericin protein). This is not a chemical smell and will naturally dissipate after airing out for 24-48 hours.
Is a silk comforter really better for allergy sufferers?
Absolutely. Silk is naturally hypoallergenic and contains sericin, which repels dust mites, mold, and bacteria. It is the safest choice for sensitive skin and respiratory systems.
Can I machine wash the entire comforter?
