Hand washing is always the best and safest method for washing silk.
1．Fill a basin with cold water under 30℃/86°F.
2．Add a decent amount of detergent in cool water. Use gentle or special detergent for silk.DO NOT use alkali or soap detergent. DO NOT use bleach on silk. Wrong detergents are destructive to silk fabrics.
3．Soak your silk item within 5 minutes. Otherwise, it will damage the protein fibers of the silk. If there is a stain, deal with the stain by using a tiny amount of white vinegar.
4．Massage the silk item gently to remove odors and stains.
5．Rinse the silk item under the clean water till it runs clear, and all the detergent soap suds have been washed out.
6．Use a towel to soak up most of the water. DO NOT twist or wring the item.
7．Hang dry. DO NOT tumble dry. DO NOT dry in the direct sunlight.
