All-Season Silk Comforters
Some nights start cool and turn warm by 2 a.m. Others begin with the air conditioner running and end with you pulling the covers back up. Our All-Season silk comforters are made for that middle ground: enough coverage to feel settled, without the bulky warmth of a winter-weight bed. Start with Mulberry or Tussah silk filling. From there, choose the care routine, cotton shell and cover combination that fit the way you sleep.

The Night Does Not Stay at One Temperature
You may feel cold when you first get into bed, warm up after you fall asleep and wake to a cooler room near morning. That change is one reason the comforter above you matters. Research on sleep environments shows that room temperature and the thermal resistance of bedding both influence how comfortable a sleeper feels through the night.
THXSILK places All-Season between lightweight summer comforters and winter comforters. Four current adult styles list 59–77°F (15–25°C) as their suggested room range. Think of that as the middle lane in our comforter collection, not a rule for every person or every home.
Why Silk Filling Feels Different on the Bed
A silk-filled comforter does not need the oversized, puffy look of a winter duvet to feel comforting. The long layers of silk settle closer to the body, giving the bed a smoother drape and a more even sense of coverage. For sleepers who dislike feeling pinned under a bulky comforter but still want something over them, that balance can make it easier to relax at bedtime.
Silk filling is naturally breathable and helps release excess heat and moisture while holding gentle warmth as the room cools. That balance can reduce the stuffy, damp feeling that sends people searching for the cool side of the bed. When the temperature under the covers stays closer to comfortable, there is one less reason to wake up and readjust them.
Start with the Sleeper, Then Choose the Silk
If you want Mulberry silk, this page has three choices. Two single comforters pair Mulberry filling with jacquard cotton shells. The third is a set that adds a removable 19 Momme Mulberry silk duvet cover. These are the natural starting points if material refinement and a traditional silk-filled construction matter most to you.
The two Tussah options are more practical in different ways. One uses a 100% cotton shell. The other combines Tussah filling with a cotton-polyester shell and can be machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle. That washable style makes sense for a busy household, a guest room or anyone who knows that professional cleaning will not fit their routine. Neither choice is right for everyone; the better comforter is the one that fits both your sleep and the way you live.
One Bed, Two Different Sleepers
All-Season is often the easiest starting point for a shared bed, but no comforter can erase the fact that two people may sleep at different temperatures. If one person regularly throws off the covers while the other pulls them back, use room temperature as the first guide and keep an extra light layer on one side of the bed. That is usually more practical than asking one comforter to solve two opposite preferences.
If both sleepers tend to run warm, move to the Summer collection. If both want noticeably more insulation, look at Winter. For bedrooms that sit somewhere between those extremes, All-Season gives you a versatile base without forcing the bed into its heaviest setup.
The Cover Changes the Sleep Experience Too
Four products here are single comforters and do not include a cover, sheet or pillowcase. The set includes one Mulberry silk-filled comforter and one removable 19 Momme Mulberry silk duvet cover. A silk cover adds the smooth hand and fluid drape people expect to see and feel; a cotton cover will make the same insert feel different.
If you already own a cover, measure it before ordering. Most styles here use Twin 67 × 87, Queen 87 × 90 and King 102 × 90 inches, but one Tussah comforter uses Queen 79 × 91 and King / Cal King 87 × 94. Browse Mulberry silk duvet covers if you want the insert and outer layer to work together as a complete sleep surface.
Build a Bed You Can Actually Live With
The best comforter is not the one with the longest feature list. It is the one you can use night after night without fighting the temperature or worrying about care. Choose the washable Tussah option if easy maintenance will determine whether you enjoy the product. Choose a spot-clean-only Mulberry style if you are comfortable using a removable cover and airing the insert between seasons.
The THXSILK silk care guide covers the general routine. Always follow the label sewn into your comforter, and care for a removable cover separately from the silk-filled insert.
FAQs
Can an All-Season silk comforter help me sleep more comfortably
It may help if overheating, heaviness or changing room temperature is one of the reasons you keep adjusting your bedding at night. Silk filling offers coverage with a closer, less bulky drape, and many sleepers choose it for a more balanced feeling under the covers. A comforter is one part of the sleep environment; persistent sleep problems can have causes that bedding alone cannot address.
Will it stop me from waking up hot?
No comforter can promise that, but an All-Season silk-filled comforter may reduce the heavy, stuffy feeling that prompts some sleepers to throw off their covers. If your bedroom stays hot, choose Summer weight instead. Night sweats that are persistent or unexplained should be discussed with a healthcare professional rather than treated only by changing bedding.
Can I use it in summer and winter?
That depends on the room. A strongly air-conditioned summer bedroom may suit All-Season, while a naturally warm room may still need Summer weight. A cold winter bedroom may require the Winter collection or an additional layer.
Are all the comforters filled with Mulberry silk?
No. The adult collection contains three Mulberry-filled products and two Tussah-filled products. The material and outer shell are listed separately on each product page.
Does an All-Season comforter include a duvet cover?
Only the two-piece Comforter Set includes a 19 Momme Mulberry silk duvet cover. The four single comforters do not include a cover, sheet or pillowcase.
Can these silk comforters go in a washing machine?
Only the style explicitly named Washable Silk Filled Comforter allows a cold, gentle machine cycle. The other four adult products should not be machine washed or tumble dried. Follow the care label on the item you buy.
What sizes are available?
Availability varies by product. Most adult styles use Twin 67 × 87, Queen 87 × 90 and King 102 × 90 inches, with Cal King 110 × 96 on selected styles. One Tussah product instead uses Queen 79 × 91 and King / Cal King 87 × 94 inches. Full is not currently listed.
Do I need a duvet cover?
A cover is recommended because it keeps the filled comforter away from most direct contact and small spills. Check both dimensions before pairing a separate cover with the insert.
