Quality Standards

  • Procurement Phase

We strictly control the evaluation of suppliers' qualifications, sourcing raw materials from the Qualified Suppliers List. Departments such as the Purchasing Department, Quality Inspection Center, Production Department, and Warehousing and Logistics Department conduct an annual comprehensive evaluation of suppliers' quality stability, delivery timeliness, and after-sales service at the beginning of each year. This ensures the quality of supplies from stocked suppliers.

  • Production Phase

we adopt appropriate production methods tailored to various production models. Under the stock preparation model, production department planners develop monthly production plans; in the order-based model, planners create production plans based on orders, which, upon confirmation by the head of the Production Department, are entered into the system as production orders. In the production and processing stage, material collection should be conducted based on the Production Plan Flow Card generated from the production plan in the system. Operators assigned to specific processes must scan the corresponding QR code before proceeding
    with their operations.

  • Improvement Phase

In the event of quality issues during production, the Quality Inspection Center will issue a Product Quality Anomaly Notice. The Production Department is responsible for conducting analyses and improvements, identifying the causes, and deciding on whether to repair or discard the defective products based on their condition. After the completion of the product, it undergoes a thorough
inspection. Following approval, the details of the finished goods are entered by the Warehousing and Logistics Department for inventory management.

  • Warehousing Phase

Unauthorized or unapproved individuals are strictly prohibited from entering the storage facilities or accessing inventory. Enhanced oversight and care measures are in place to ensure the safety, integrity, and effectiveness of stored goods. Additionally, we have established comprehensive fire prevention, moisture protection, and theft prevention measures for our inventory, alongside implementing a corresponding accountability mechanism. The responsibility for product quality and quantity concerns is shared among the Purchasing Department, Quality Inspection Center, Storage and Logistics Department, and Production Department.

  • Case: Constant Improvement of Professional Craftsmanship through Skill

On September 28, 2023, two craftsmen from Taihu Snow's Sewing Workshop, Jin Lin and Yang Xingrong, were awarded third place at the 11th Silk Industry Skills Competition held in Zhenze Town. The competition task was the sewing of silk pillowcases, featuring the complex technique of embedded corner piecing, a challenge especially as it was their first attempt at this craft. However, the expertise and solid professional skills of the two craftsmen led to an outstanding completion of the task. Their work was uniformly praised by the judges for both its quality and its exceptional smoothness.

  • Taihu Snow has appointed Professor Lu Xiaoping, a renowned sericulture expert and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as the Company's Chief Engineer for Sericulture Technology. Professor Lu Xiaoping currently leads the development of advanced intelligent sericulture technologies at Taihu Snow Smart Sericulture Demonstration Base. The intelligent data control system at the demonstration base includes systems for pest monitoring, meteorological observation, and co-cultivation room control. The co-cultivation room control system, equipped with sensors, can track and adjust environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. This ensures that the silkworms in the co- cultivation room thrive in an optimally controlled environment. The rearing chambers in the co-cultivation room are equipped with wheels for easy mobility, allowing for stacking up to 15 layers high. This design not only saves space but also enhances space utilization. Capable of rearing at least 50 strains in each chamber, this setup plays a significant role in promoting technological advancement in the sericulture industry.
