Mulberry silk is considered the highest quality of silk you can find because the fibers are longer and more uniform, making the fabric smoother and more durable.
Momme is the fabric weight of silk fabrics (it's used instead of thread count). In general, the higher the momme, the better the quality of the silk.
There's no material more luxurious than silk: It's a natural fiber that's incredibly smooth and has built-in temperature-regulating properties.
Hand wash is recommended and machine wash is also possible.
Machine-washable in lukewarm water (30℃) on most gentle cycle available.
Use gentle or special detergent for silk.
Hang dry without direct sunlight if possible.
Tumble dry on a cool setting if using drying machine. Avoid drying for extended period of time.
Iron when slightly damp using a cool setting. Always iron on the inside.
